Anthropic adds midterm safeguards and voting information to Claude

Anthropic has rolled out midterm election safeguards for Claude, including Democracy Works voting information for U.S. users later in October and new misuse classifiers.

The company also published an analysis of 250,000 conversations to inform its election-integrity work, as AI assistants become a place voters actually ask how and where to vote.
