TSMC's third quarter net profit was NT$763.1 billion, up about 69 percent year over year and above estimates, on revenue of NT$1.494 trillion, a sixth consecutive record quarter driven by AI chip demand.

The company raised expected full year 2026 revenue growth to about 44 percent, guided fourth quarter revenue to $52.3 to 54.3 billion, and held 2026 capital spending at $60 to 64 billion, while planning prudently into 2027 for consumer and price sensitive segments.
